This glass type is produced by laminating of tempered glass. It combines positive properties of both these glass types - very high resistance against different kinds of loads (from 900N till 7650N) and thermal stress of tempered glass with resistance to shattering, protection against falling and intrusion, UV control, improved noise damping etc. of laminated glass. The bad thing with this glass type is that in case if both glass panes are broken, it completely loses its residual strength and load bearing capacity ("wet blanket" effect).
